Our Mission:
*To reduce the overpopulation and abandonment of animals within Navarro County through spay and neuter services;
*To educate citizens on the benefits of spay / neuter and promote animal welfare;
*To maintain a good relationship with the City of Corsicana Shelter in placing as many animals as possible into good, appropriate and permanent homes;
*To work with the City and County officials, local businesses and concerned citizens in raising awareness and funding for a new shelter facility.
The City of Corsicana Animal Shelter hosted an adoption event at the Shelter on Saturday, August 28th.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this event a fantastic success!

V.I.P.s are those outstanding animals that are truly special & so have been selected to be part of an elite group.
Adoption fee for V.I.P. animals is only $25.00!
Several of the first V.I.P. have already been placed, and waiting lines have been started for those that remain. So if you may be interested in one of these fine pets, please contact the shelter right away.
Chloe needs a home!
Chloe is a 6 month old female black Lab mix. She was originally adopted from us as a small puppy, but was returned when she grew to be bigger than what her new adopted family expected. She is a wonderful young dog and deserves to find a home that she will be excepted in. Chloe gets along well with other dogs especially her buddies Dee Dee and Delilah, and very much likes when children come to visit her. She is current on her basic vaccinations, and has been dewormed. Chloe does still need to be spayed within 30 days of adoption.

Max is a 6 month old neutered male Chihuahua Wire Hair Terrier mix that came to us from owners that were not allowed to have animals at their rented home. He has been neutered courtesy of Rogers Animal Hospital. He is a sweet little dog with lots of love to give. Max is a small dog and would make a wonderful pet. He is current on his first basic vaccinations, is heart worm negative, has been de-wormed, and will receive a microchip before going home.
Alexis is a 2 year old spayed female Wirehair Terrier mix who came to us as a stray. She has been spayed courtesy of Rogers Animal Hospital. Alexis is a quiet and sweet girl who gets along well with other dogs. Once you look into those big sad eyes you'll be convinced she is the dog for you. Alexis is current on her basic vaccinations, has been de-wormed, is heartworm negative, and will be micro chipped before going home. Lola has been spayed courtesy of Rogers Animal Hospital. Lola is a 1 year old spayed female Domestic Short Hair Grey and White Tabby who was brought to us as a stray. She had been living near a business for some time, and as the business was moving, the workers wanted to make sure she would find a good home. She is a quiet and sweet girl who would love nothing more than to be your everything. She is current on her first basic vaccinations, has been de-wormed, is feline Luk, Aids, and heartworm negative, and will receive a microchip before going home.
Sue and Sweet Pea are 8 week old female Domestic Short Hair kittens, Brown Tabby and Calico, that came to us from owners who could not keep them. They are the last of their litter and would love nothing more than to bring joy to your life. Sue and Sweet Pea are typical sweet playful kittens. They are current on their first basic vaccinations, have been de-wormed, are feline Luk, Aids, and heartworm negative, and will receive a microchip before going home. Sue and Sweet Pea will need to be spayed by the time they are 6 months of age.
